My name is Christina. I'm currently a graduate student at CSUEB studying Mathematics. I plan on teaching at the community college level after I get my degree. I have been tutoring for 3 years at the community college level. The subjects have ranged from pre-algebra to Calculus II. Along with taking my classes, I am teaching Algebra 1 this Fall at CSUEB.
A lot of people know Math, a lot of people can tutor Math, but for me it's about the individual needing help. I have worked with students from all ages, from pre-teen to people in their second/third careers. Everyone has their own style of learning. It takes time and effort to figure out the best way to learn. Math is not easy. It takes time. It takes effort. It helps to have someone you're completely comfortable guiding you along the way.
Good luck with your Math studies!
