I am a Chinese teacher with over 21 years of teaching experience for all levels of students, with strong teaching skills and a strong academic background. I have a thorough knowledge of the Chinese language and history, math, and accounting. Some skills that make me a good Chinese teacher include my patience and love of children. I also have good communication skills and I take responsibilities very seriously.
My experience is one of my greatest qualities. I have worked at the Chinese Culture Center in San Francisco for 10 years to teach adults before, and at the Harbor Bay Community Center in Alameda for 10 years to teach kids too. I am able to teach all ages of students. Some other places I have taught at include Connecting Water Charter School, and the Chang Ning School in Shanghai. On top of that, I have been teaching students at my house since 1989, and helped some American students get accepted to Beijing University, Nanjing University, and Shanghai Fu Dan University.
I have won several awards such as the award for best place to learn Mandarin in the Bay Area (2004 San Francisco Chinese Culture Center). Another award I have won is the Community Service Award from the FCC for being a Mandarin teacher that has taught many FCC children and parents how to speak Chinese. I went to university in China and America. First I went to the B.A.., East China Normal University in 1995. Then I went to the A.A., Shanghai Chang Ning Education Institute where I continued to study the Chinese language.
