I am a fun, friendly and creative teacher with over 18 years experience teaching students from K-16. I have a B.A. in History from UC Berkeley and a Masters degree in Education from UCLA. I am fluent in conversational Mandarin.

I have been both a private tutor (18 years) and a classroom teacher (4 years). I have decided to return to tutoring because being able to motivate and teach individual students is my passion. As a classroom teacher, I would dedicate a good portion of my time teaching my students how to study, organize their materials, and use their time effectively to complete assignments and prepare for quizzes and tests. I found that many time students just needed a little guidance on how to take good notes, create flashcards and other study strategies in order to master the material.

You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
