I coached Little Baseball for about 10 years, along with softball. I was the head coach all of this time, I was able to teach my team the finer art of baseball. Every year we were competitive, even on the years we had a majority of new players; this was because I taught them the importance of team work and working together along with fair play.
I have taught 2nd through 6th grade for seven years. All of my classes in which I have taught have met or exceeded the AIMS tests. I am very complete in what I teach, to insure you get the most out of what is being taught, which include learning study skills.
I have been teaching for ten years. I enjoy what I do. All of my classes in which I have taught have either Met or Exceeded the AIMS test standards. I have some neat ways to help students learn. The main thing is that they do learn.
My major is in English I hold a BA in Secondary Education in English and a MA in Educational Leadership. English is my passion, and I enjoy passing on my knowledge in both English and Writing.

You will learn different types of authors and begin to study their works. You will be able to analyze and compare the different types of styes. This will prepare you for the next step in your learning process.
I taught seven years in elementary, so I used Phonics on a regular basic. When I taught 2nd grade we were heavy into phonics and my students exceeded the Aims test because of their knowledge of phonics. I am very patient with my students in this area, because if they don’t have an understanding of pronunciation of words then they will struggle later on in life.
I enjoy writing, and write all of the time. It is my hobby, and I am currently working o a couple of books as well.
I have 22 years of military experience, in which I had to learn how to speak in front of the brass. I have also been a recruiter during whom I had to give classes and speak in front of large crowds of students and parents alike. Plus my background in education; whereas I had to be able to speak to students, and their parents for classes and also during banquets and such.
I have coached youth and adult softball between 4 to 8 years, insuring they understood the rule and concepts behind the game. I also taught fair play, and also instructed each position on the field. I feel this is a way to instill team work among young players and that is what was taught.
I use several different types of tests, both reading and spelling; this will help you jump forward and become prepared for the AIMS test and any other type of tests you may encounter.
When I taught at the elementary school level, this was one area I focused on. It helped to reduce test anxiety and calm students down when they were preparing for a big test such as the AIMS test. My AIMS test score were nothing but exceeding on a majority of my students which helped my school achieve exceed on their state standards.
I hold a BA in English, and have taught Elementary School for ten years. Words are everywhere you turn; here you will learn the meaning of everyday words to include sight words and how to use them. You will be able to understand them along with being able to spell them. This is a key part of your learning, this will help you to be able to use words in everyday conversation.
I coached about three years of volleyball, both youth and adult. This is a great sport to teach team work and how to cooperate during a game insuring that you are learning to rely on everyone on the team. Students learned all the position, to include the setter, my teams were very successful in the volleyball.
I enjoy writing; I am always writing, currently I am working on a couple of books. I write everything from poetry to novels; both fiction and non-fiction.
