I'm a sophomore at the University of Arizona studying Molecular and Cellular Biology, with a minor in Sports Management, and I hope to go to medical school after graduating. As you might have guessed, my strongest areas are science (chemistry) and math, though I can certainly help younger students with reading, writing, and pretty much any other area. I live near Campbell and Broadway, but I can travel 10 or 15 miles for the right opportunity. I have experience tutoring at a Boys and Girls Club in Tucson and feel very comfortable helping younger kids, but I am also able to help middle-school and high school students. I am currently assisting an Introductory Biology course at UA as an undergraduate preceptor, which allows me to work with professional educators to improve my ability as an instructor. I like challenging those who I help in a way that allows them to get the right answers while helping them understand how we got to that answer. I'm a hardworking, respectful guy, and I promise I'm not nearly as boring as this write-up might make me seem.
I took AP Chemistry, AP Statistics, AP English III and IV, AP World History, AP US History, AP Government, AP Economics, and Pre-Calculus in High School and completed Anatomy and Physiology I, General Chemistry, and Calculus I at the University of Arizona. I passed all of these classes with an A or B and helped my fellow classmates in every class. I would like the opportunity to share what I learned in those classes with you or your child.
