As a native U.S. Citizen I have been teaching in Mexico, Chile, and Colombia for the last 11 years. I am fluent in Spanish also. My specialty has been tutoring business people and helping them communicate better in emails and oral presentations. I have a B.S. in Engineering and an MBA from USC. In Chile I received an extensive teaching qualification class and immediately taught young adults.
My business background and public speaking experience allows me to connect efficiently with the mindsets of my students. I have also proven very effective in helping students increase their TOEFL, IELTS, and other test scores by 30 percent. I practice a student directed teaching philosophy, which allows me to alter a scheduled class immediately if the situation applies.
