I am currently enrolled at Arizona State University, Tempe campus. It is my fourth year as a student with a dual major in psychology and biological sciences. I am studying for both the MCAT and the LSAT as I have not decided which to pursue just yet. I have a strong foundation of scientific courses that include: Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Genetics, Physics, Cell Biology, and both semesters of Organic Chemistry.
Although I am majoring in Biological Sciences, my true passion lies in chemistry related courses. Luckily for me, I had an excellent supply of chemistry resources and aids to propel my interest and competence in the subject. My most recent professor, who taught Organic Chemistry, won the professor of the year award at ASU. He was highly touted as an inspirational yet difficult teacher. In both of his classes, I achieved excellent marks and developed my own system (based off his) to yield superb results.
I have been tutoring my friends and peers since high school. In high school, I helped mostly students who struggled with math, whether it was algebra, pre-calculus, or statistics. I don't tutor because I have to; I tutor because it is a grand feeling to witness a student achieves something they didn't think they could. In the end, few will remember the grade achieved, but almost all will remember the collaboration and joy experienced.
Let me to prove to you that you can achieve your goals through hard work, perseverance, and a little bit of fun. Thank you for your consideration and time.
