I am a college student at ASU, and I am genuinely interested in helping people understand science and mathematics. I believe that at the heart of these subjects are concepts that all people can relate to, and finding how these subjects relate to ourselves is the easiest way of grasping the concepts. I enjoy seeing people fully understand these concepts for the first time because of the how these subjects have played a role in improving our society through technology and other advancements.

I have worked with WyzAnt for all of the previous school year and I am confident that I can succeed in tutoring you or your child because of my previous success in tutoring students as well as my own ability to succeed. I have completed math classes up through Calculus 2. I have completed two semesters of General University Chemistry and two semesters of Organic Chemistry. I have completed two semesters of University Physics, and two semesters of General University Biology. My grade point average is currently a 3.3. I plan to complete a Bachelors Degree in Biochemistry at ASU with a focus in Medicinal Chemistry. I would really like an opportunity to use the abilities I have been given to help others while I am immersed in the academic environment and guarantee that all of the students I tutor will succeed.

When it comes to math I completely understand that it is not everybody's thing. There are subjects and abilities that I am almost embarrassed to admit how poorly I understand them. Biology

I am a Biochemistry major so it is necessary that my understanding of general Biology is very strong. I also had a very good teacher that challenged me in this class so I feel very good about tutoring in it.

Chemistry

I am currently a tutor at the ASU Chemistry tutoring center in General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry, and I have experience tutoring high school students in their Chemistry courses. I not only have a strong understanding of the subject I also am familiar with the different ways people learn it, and am successful at helping people find their own understanding of it.

Spanish

I am very knowledgeable in both written and spoken Spanish. I took three years of Spanish in high school, and I lived in Spain for 3 months in 2007. I also have a lot of experience speaking and understanding spoken Spanish through using it with personal acquaintances I have made through 7 years of working in kitchens.
