I LOVE to help teach others how to reach that 'moment of epiphany' in the various complex drafting and design software environments that I've come to enjoy! I am a national and international award-winning designer from the aquatics, theme construction, and swimming pool industry that fell on hard times, went back to school, and completed my A.Sc honors degree in computer-aided drafting design from ITT Technical Institute.
I am currently on sabbatical in my dual-B.Sc in construction management project management at ITT Technical Institute in Tempe, Arizona. I have served as a teacher's aid in AutoCAD environments for a few engineering and architectural adjunct professors, and as a peer-to-peer tutor in 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013. I teach in a very laid-back, usually humorous way, and sense someone's abilities and personal style near instantly. Due to software complexities, everyone adapts in vastly different times and ways. Generally, there are three major ways to navigate these programs, with 3-5 sub-methods in each, all getting to the same result. Therefore, I teach what is easiest for you, not me. Furthermore, I still learn something new daily!
