Hello! My name is Tammy and I have been a public school teacher for seventeen years now. I am a mother of two wonderful children, ages 15 and 11. I have taught 5th, 6th and 7th grades and I am certified through the state of Arizona for grades Kindergarten through 8th grade.

I hold my Bachelor's Degree in Communications, specializing in Elementary Education and my Master's Degree, specializing in Educational Administration. I hope to be a principal one day, when our economy begins to rise again!

I love working with children and I view myself as a teacher that is able to approach learning in a multitude of ways. Not all children learn the same way, so I don't teach children all the same way. I make learning fun and we definitely make goals and exceed them.

I coached my own swim teach a few years back but more importantly I have taught little ones how to swim summer after summer. I find this to be extremely rewarding and I love to watch the kids actually enjoy the water after being frightened of it.
