Hi there, and thanks for looking at my profile! My name is Colette. I'm a professional tutor living and working in the Cherry Hill area. I currently tutor all ages and ranges of students in all aspects of English, French, and the Critical Reading, Grammar, and Essay portions of the PSAT, SAT, and ACT exams. I'm a hard-working, energetic teacher with extensive tutoring and teaching experience. My successful track record in leading positive, efficient, and effective classes is something of which I'm very proud. I teach every student as if he/she is my *only* student, and I focus on communication, confidence building, and motivational skills. My goal is to establish an environment in which my students feel safe to question, err, and excel.

As for education, I hold a B.S. from Northwestern's School of Speech, an M.F.A. from the University of Alabama, and an M.S. with Distinction in Secondary Education from Mercy College. I am formally trained and certified by several prominent tutoring companies.

I have a current Fingerprint Clearance Card.

I also hold an M.S. with Distinction in Secondary French Education and spent one year abroad in Paris studying at the Sorbonne. How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
