As a student in college, I minored in history, was inducted into national history honor society and competed in a history writing competition where I placed second. I also tutored students on campus.
I was a Front Office Instructor for 3 different post-secondary schools where I taught medical terminology, and Anatomy.
As a student at Molloy College, I minored in theology. In my junior year I applied as a member of the theology honor society. I presented a paper on Julian of Norwich and was inducted into the honor society. Additionally, as a member of Calvary Chapel in Lake Worth, Florida, I taught Sunday school classes in Bible studies for two+ years.
This year as a member of Calvary Chapel in Surprise, Arizona, I am a volunteer with the Good News Club through CEF and will be spreading the gospel to school age children.
As an Associate Director of a tutoring facility, I tutored students (elementary grades and home schooling) in Language Arts, Social Studies and General science. I also served as liaison between elementary schools, parents and students. Currently I am tutoring 8-year-old twin in Language Arts, handwriting, and Phonics; and a sixth-grader in English.
I work with many students who attend elementary school and we work on subjects such as reading, reading comprehension, science, math, spelling, penmanship, etc. and both my students and their parents are pleased with their progress and improvement in school subjects. We work hard but we ALWAYS have fun!

While living in Florida, I was a medical billing and coding instructor at Florida Career College, Keiser Career College and Everest Institute. I am also a certified biller and coder with NCICS. I have also been a coder and biller for a variety of medical practices.
Travelled throughout the country for 3+ years as an independent trainer for AT&T training ad, sales, and account execs on MicroSoft Office--Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Also certified by Microsoft.
For 3 plus years I travelled around the country for AT&T training employees in Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
While an independent contractor/instructor for AT&T, traveled across the United States training ad execs, account execs, and sales execs MicroSoft Suite. The suite was over a three-day period and the first day focused on Windows. I was tested by AT&T before I could actually train AT&T employees.
Additionally, I trained clients in Windows--from Beginner Level through Advanced at Gateway Country Stores.

I worked for 3 years at Random House. I started in the Contracts department and began doing proofreading of manuscripts after taking a Proofreading course in the evenings at NYU.
As as teacher for many Florida Vocational Schools, I was required to stand before my classes and speak (not read notes) on my front office subject matter. Too, I taught an English class with public speaking at Florida Career.
Additionally, I traveled around the country for AT&T training ad execs, account execs and sales execs in Microsoft--Windows, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Likewise, I did the same training on the same subject matter for Gateway Country Stores.
While in Florida, I was an Associate Director for a tutoring center, Score At the Top. Worked with elementary school students, especially those in need of reading and writing skills.

While a student at Molloy College I worked with students from the Foreign Language Dept. We would first use a tape recorder to hear what speech patterns needed to be addressed. Then we would work from textbooks. I read a section; they read a section. They would work on various exercises with me during the week until everyone was satisfied with the results!
