I was born and raised almost 50 years ago in the northern Italy and have now lived in the US for 25. I am fluent in the Italian language and I also bring to the table a lot of the cultural aspects of the every day life since my family is still over there and I am obviously keeping constant contact.
Throughout my studies I can help on many levels, and also offer suggestions as what it would be better when visiting Italy. Sometimes travel agencies do not explain what it really means to visit a country where in a few square miles there is so much to see and appreciate. The main attraction points are obviously milestones, but Italy is not just the big names, but the people, the small towns, villages, the country itself.
Also Italian is a difficult language to learn. The grammar is complicated and the help of a tutor is definitely a smart way to easy your way to acquire a level of independence with the language itself. I often see tourists with their little dictionary struggling to be understood. There is a better way.
Please feel free to contact me so we can discuss your needs, I will be happy to help.
All the best,
