As a former university and community college teacher, my teaching philosophy has always been student centered. I like to create a hands-on, non-threatening, and interactive learning environment utilizing my knowledge of student learning styles.
My instruction is always customized to the learners comfort level. I have considerable patience and can modify course content to go as fast or as slow as the learner's ability. Some of my clients are 80+ years old and have taken numerous training sessions with me.
I have taught business management, information technology, and computer science for the past 20 years to students of all ages. While pursuing my doctorate degree in Business Education, I studied instructional technology, database design, distance learning environments, and learning styles with study interventions.
I can provide at-home PC training to beginners, who have never been on a computer to experienced users who are looking to learn advanced techniques. While I do not profess to know everything in the computer technology field, I am confident that I will be able to impart value in helping you to take your computer skills to the next level.
