Education: Bachelor of Social Work, Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing, and Doctor of Jurisprudence. I've always been good at school and standardized tests, and I enjoy sharing my strategies for success with clients.
Employment: Before becoming a professional tutor, I worked as a lawyer, college instructor, and fitness professional. These experiences sharpened my ability to analyze complex things and explain them in a clear, straightforward way. I take pride in my ability to assess each client's needs and goals and make sure every tutoring experience is personalized.
Philosophy: "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime." This proverb sums up my tutoring philosophy. I don't just help clients with the assignment or project at hand; I work to help them improve fundamental skills, identify strengths and challenges, and plan for future success.
Personality: Although I take my clients' success very seriously, I don't take myself too seriously. As a result, clients generally think I'm pretty approachable, easy to talk with, and occasionally even funny.
