The best teachers are both strong in their field of expertise and know what it is to struggle in other courses of study. As a student, I experienced the delights of acing a test and working very hard to make a suitable grade. In high school I did well with a heavy course load and scored highly on standardized tests; achievements that let me enter Northwestern University. To get there, I had to develop study techniques and a work ethic that could help me overcome educational challenges.
Since that time I have worked as a tutor for private families and shared my methods with students. They react well as I assist them with their learning process resulting in subject mastery and higher grades. I find that process highly rewarding and look forward to providing my subject matter expertise and experience explaining complex concepts to students needing help with chemistry, math, physics, or biology.
