Hello and Welcome! My name is Jerrianne, and I will be your tutor.

I currently work as a consulting accountant who designs cost accounting systems/packages to deal with unique manufacturing or construction projects that traditionally have low profit margin or returns on investments. Previously, I worked as a Corporate Controller and as a Vice President of Finance in multi-million, multi-state operations, which sustained significant growth in their core business operations during my tenure at both locations. I subsequently decided to pursue my PhD in Accounting (minor in environmental science) and began teaching part time four years ago. I have since discovered that I enjoy this very much and hope that you will learn a lot from this course as we go through the assigned material together. I received my BBA in Accounting from Belmont Baptist University in Nashville, TN., and my MBA/ACC from the University of Phoenix.

My other interests include international finance and economics (this has been really fascinating lately), college football, working out and spending time with my kids. I am the mother of five (yes, FIVE) and I am highly motivated to do more and learn more all of the time! I look forward to meeting and working with you!
