I believe you can always help someone understand if you first understand what they know, and make what they learn somehow relative to that. I have put this in to practice as a teacher and trainer because I truly enjoy being a part of your learning. I included research of analogy and metaphor as a part of my master's degree in Education and have long put it into practice. With a long road of life experience behind me, I have gathered a lot of skills, knowledge, and abilities in a variety of areas. Being able to give them to others is rewarding and motivating. When the light comes on for you, it brightens my world!
I have a record of helping others in the areas of business management, Microsoft Office products (I'm a power user for most applications), English Language Arts including reading, writing, and literature, and I have played the guitar (sometimes professionally) for over 40 years. Not that it will likely come up here, but I also spent a lot of time as an actor, director, and acting coach in case the footlights are calling you....
Profile tests have shown that I am equal parts left and right brain, so I can probably relate to you and the way you take in knowledge. I am patient and articulate, and it matters very much to me that you learn what you wanted to learn.
