Hello/Salut! I am a highly qualified, state certified, English and French teacher with over 30 years of tutoring, training, and teaching experience. I received my B.A. in English at A.S.U., my post-bac in education at Rio Salado, and became fluent in French while attending L’Université d’Aix-Marseille. (I have since lived in and visited France on several occasions, and I am an active member of a local French club.)

I have an excellent rapport with students of all ages, and I make learning fun! If you need help passing AIMS, the GMAT, the SAT, or the GED test, I can help!

I also have a lot of experience teaching English as a second language. Moreover, even if English is your first language, I can help you prepare for that important job interview or group presentation.

Need to give a speech in front of a group of people? No worries. I am a very experienced public speaker (& former Toastmasters International club president), and I'd love to help you in that regard.

Do you need to improve your writing skills? Or have something proofread, be it a term paper or website? I can certainly help you with that. In fact, I've enjoyed writing my whole life!

Additionally, having also been a proactive substitute teacher for several years, I can tutor virtually all subjects at the elementary and middle school levels as well as most subjects (in addition to English and French) at the high school level, especially science and social studies.

I am a certified and highly qualified English teacher who has been teaching and tutoring for many years. I enjoy both the classroom environment and one-on-one tutoring.

I have a knack for making learning fun while helping students master often challenging material.

Proofreading

As a certified English teacher, who has corrected many papers, and a writer, I can definitely shore up one's writing so that it's clear, organized, and well written.

I have a lot of editing and proofreading experience, and I am very patient with my students.

GED

As a certified English teacher and experienced substitute teacher (meaning that I am exposed to, and help students with, ALL subjects), I consider myself the ideal candidate to help someone pass the GED.

In fact, I have successfully helped a student, who had been out of school for over 30 years, pass the writing portion of the GED after he had failed it (prior to us having met) twice. In fact, the writing portion ended up being his highest GED score!

SAT Writing

I have years of experience helping students with all aspects of writing, such as the SAT, GED, and AIMS test preparation.

I am very patient and have a knack of explaining concepts so that students can understand the material and improve.

ACT Reading

I have helped many students improved their reading comprehension skills. I have sound teaching strategies that assist the student in arriving at the correct multiple choice answer on their own.

ACT English

As a certified High School teacher with years of tutoring and teaching experience, I can certainly help you prepare for the ACT test. I am patient, and I have a knack for helping students improve quite appreciably.

Public Speaking

As an experience teacher and instructor, I have had many years of public speaking experience. Additionally, I've been able to hone my speaking skills yet further by being a member of Toastmasters International. I have also tutored several students on preparing speeches.
