My personal information is as follows: I have been married to the same woman for 37 years and have two married sons and four grandchildren. I acquired my undergraduate degree from Arizona State University in Accounting and my graduate degree, MBA, from Ottawa University. I have over fifteen years experience in Accounting and the use of all Microsoft Office products. I have developed and taught course work for industry in Microsoft Excel and Access (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and VBA Programming). My teaching experience is in an industrial setting with 30 or more students where I was able to give individual attention to any student that requested or required it.
My method of teaching is patient, understanding, and based on the requirements of the individual student. In the first class meeting I get to know the student, what the student’s expectations and requirements are for the class. The student’s level of understanding for the material to be presented in the class: in this way the student is not being presented with material that has already been learned. I require that all session meeting be attended, with some exceptions and that notice be given at least two hours in advance of meeting time.
