I love the written word and I'm excited to share that passion with students who are looking to strengthen their reading or writing skills.

I'm an avid reader and love to teach. I've worked with children and teens for most of my life -- everything from camp counseling to tutoring in Denver's inner-city, plus teaching elementary school in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya.

I completed a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Creative Writing in 2009, and I write for various blogs and publications around the web. I'm also editor of an online literary magazine.

Not only am I a tutor with WyzAnt, I'm also a student (brushing up on my Spanish).

How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
