A bit about me as a teacher and tutor for the French and English language:
I love my tutoring job! Teaching both English and French is very rewarding. My students learn quickly and efficiently, meeting their individual goals and having fun along the way.
Currently, I am on a sabbatical leave from a high school French teaching position, and am working in the Valley as a tutor for mostly high school and adults. However, I do love working with young students, and work well with all ages.
With 10+ years experience in the teaching field, I am very effective in my teaching practices.
As for my qualifications, I studied French Education at the University of Arizona, and went on to work as a teacher of French in the K-12 education system. While working as a teacher in the states, I decided that I wanted to open myself up to the potential of traveling and teaching, so I took a 130 hour course in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). I now work as a tutor in this field. My minor is in Spanish, and have lived and traveled in various Spanish speaking countries.
I thoroughly enjoy teaching and working with students to improve their language capabilities. I am enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and professional in all of my practices.
It is a pleasure to do this job, and I look forward to working with you!
