I specialize in working with teens who have lost faith in their abilities to perform academically. Restoring confidence in my students is my passion and seeing their success is my motivation.
My background includes helping the Girls' Leadership Academy of Arizona implement their AVID program by acting as a Tutor. In my role, I taught college readiness through the development of problem solving, time management, critical reading, and public speaking skills. I also have experience teaching Algebra and Geometry at the Metropolitan Arts Institute. Most recently, I have worked as a Special Education and Substitute Teacher for the Washington Elementary School District and as a Religious School teacher for the Roz Goodell Education Center.
I have been privately tutoring since January of 2012. Since then, my students have been blossoming into the limitless and ambitious children their parents remember, and I appreciate every moment of their growth that I have been blessed to witness. I look forward to working with families who value and prioritize their children’s self-esteem and potential.
