Language comes easy for some, and not so easy for others...but I know that everyone can learn languages, even those of you who think you just weren't "born with the ear for it". We all have the "ear for it", and I can help you attune yours. I'm a specialist in language pronunciation teaching, so I can help you learn those tricky sounds, improve your intonation and speak with confidence.

I'm also a complete grammar geek. There's no grammar problem we can't solve together!

I'll talk with you about your goals, your learning styles, your feelings about language learning, what you enjoy about learning a language and what you don't. Once I understand your language needs, I will work with you so you can achieve far more than you thought you could. I'll give you the skills and strategies to keep on learning your chosen language long after you finish with classes and tutoring sessions.

I am an Arizona State University graduate student finishing up my MTESOL program (Masters in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). In this program, I concentrate on foreign language pronunciation teaching.

I love to help others get comfortable with new languages and really enjoy using them as much as I do. I have studied several languages: Persian, Arabic, Spanish, Japanese, and Korean in addition to French, which I speak fluently after having lived in France for more than 10 years.

My study of French began in high school, and extended all through my undergraduate program.
