My name is Tina and I have several years of teaching and advising experience in higher education. I have worked at several colleges across the country, to include Arizona State University, Purdue University, University of Phoenix, Tulane, UCLA and others. I have a B.A. in Sociology and a minor in Psychology and a masters degree from Purdue University in Counseling and College Student Affairs. Additionally, I have a masters in Law from Arizona State University College of Law. I continue to take psychology courses each term. I enjoy being a lifelong learner and am very passionate about the subject of psychology!
I enjoy having fun with students and working to adjust to their learning styles so that they gain the most out of a session and really absorb, learn and retain the material, rather than just memorize it for a test or paper.
My favorite subjects to teach, tutor and learn are psychology, law/criminal justice, sociology, cultural diversity, writing, proofreading, literature, study skills and many others!
I think everyone has the capacity to learn and master any subject and I would be honored if you chose me to help you achieve your academic and intellectual goals!
