Confused or struggling in your programming courses?
It's true that everyone doesn't learn the same way. Some people can read books or listen to a lecture, some need to experiment and try it hands on, some just need someone to answer their questions, and the list goes on ...
You can get high marks in all your programming and software engineering classes even if you never read a textbook. How do I know? Because I did it years ago and I've been a professional programmer ever since. It's all about your curiosity and figuring out what works best for your style of learning. After all college isn't about the subject matter so much as gaining the ability to learn just about anything.
Credentials: B.S. in Software Engineering, more than 6 years professional programming experience, founder and owner of software development company.
Are you a local drummer who needs to work on their chops for studio or live performances?
I've been playing drums since I was 8 years old. I had private lessons from a phenomenal drummer for the first decade and I've been banging away ever since for various bands, tours, albums, and radio stations. I started with classical, jazz, latin, and world percussion but now I'm more into funk, rock, heavy metal, and alternative.
Whether you're just starting to play drums and want to avoid the various bad habits of the self-taught drummer or if you're an experienced drummer looking to go pro I can lend a hand, or an ear as the case may be.
Credentials: Over 20 years experience playing drums, multiple recorded and produced albums, current drummer for multiple local bands actively playing paid shows and recording every week.
