I have spent 10 years using of Microsoft Access and Excel in the business world to make real impacts in efficiency and workflow. I understand business and I understand how these technologies can be used effectively in the workplace. I have taken classes through my employer for Microsoft Access from beginning to advanced and a course in visual basic for applications.
I have experience with SQL, VBA, Oracle Reports Builder, Job Boss, Extra Personal Client automation.
My main approach to teaching is patience. I have been doing reporting and building databases for years, but everyone starts at a different place. Understanding the why of it all it also very important. Once you understand the basic structure of these applications, you can often teach yourself. However, without the building blocks it can seem a bit overwhelming.
I have a broad range of basic knowledge through various classes I have taken at Western International University and through classes with my employer. Those include: VB.net Intro, VB.net Advanced, XML
HTML, Sequel for Oracle, APEX (Oracle Application Express), MS Access, and MS Excel.
I am available for private tutoring. I can also teach classes or do consulting for your business. I have been doing consulting work for five years. Due to my math background, I am available for tutoring in math as well.
My main availability is on the weekends and some evenings. However, I can also work in weekday appointments with reasonable notice.
