Hello,
My name is Mr. H and I want to be your tutor. I am a certified teacher in two states, Missouri and Arizona, where I have taught for a combined 12 years in the 5th grade. I have also coached elementary, middle school, and high school students in various sports like softball, wrestling, cross country, football, soccer, and basketball. I was also a youth leader in my local church for 8 years before I moved to AZ. I like helping people, especially students, reach their full potential! I have my AZ fingerprint card and my Master's Degree in elementary education. I teach in the Tempe Public School system, a school that scored an "A" and met the AZ state standards. I have students in my classroom everyday after school, unless I have a meeting, as they enjoy working with me. My goal is to keep my teaching and tutoring from being boring by using manipulatives, moving around, voice inflections, and I even have a live piranha in my classroom that I use as subject material. I use my own personal life experiences that involve my wife and dog to keep my lessons upbeat and interesting.
