My most recent experience, I created a Technical Support Department, Software Development Team, supervised the Webmaster, and implemented an eBook Project, using Adobe Professional, that generated $10 million in revenue (or over-recovery as used by Intel).

Previously, I was a Business Analyst and Intel where I worked on a PSA (professional services automation) Proect that is used to manage and monitor time for consultants and contrators as well as Vendor Management.

Worked at American Express, as a Programmer Analyst. I was the owner of the Disputes Module -- when you disputed a charge on your American Express card my program would remove the charge, hold it, and recalculate the monthly charge.

Worked as an Analsyt for CACI, this company implemented the network system for the Pentagon. I coded the Vehicle Registration Denial System for New York, North and South Carolina. Generated a response to a Request for Proposal (RFP_ for the State of Deleware.

Also wrote a response for a RFP for USAA. I coordinated with two companies and led the generation of the response to the RFP.



Career Development

I have more than 30 years of work experience. I have worked in almost 60 positions up to Executive Director. I am working on third degree; MBA in Leadership.

Currently, I am teaching Professional Career Development - BUS101 for Charter College in Alaska. I spent a short time working for Career Services at Grand Canyon University.

Microsoft Access

I have created an Access 2003 database for Faculty for Grand Canyon University. I am currently creating a Student/Tutor database using Acess 2010 for Southwest Valley Literacy Association. I have been a programmer and have a BS in CIS from DeVry. I took courses in Database Design. I facilitate an Access course for Grand Canyon University. I am approved to facilitate Access for Charter College in Anchorage, AK.

Also, I work as an Online Tutor Assistant and help two students build a small database application.

SQL

Took a course in SQL at DeVry University. In addition, worked as a programmer at American Express and CACI where I used SQL to run queries. SQL was used to update and delete data on database tables.

Approved Subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet certified in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
