I have 30 years of work experience in various industries (e.g., Military (Air Force 10 years in Admin), Software Development (American Express and CACI (Vehicle Registration), and Education.

I am currently an online adjunct faculty member and I facilitate the following courses:

My background as a Business and Systems Analysis afforded me the experience to find answers and get results.

I don't have all the answers but I'm dedicated to find the answers that I don't have with an extensive network of colleagues and professional in a myriad of different organizations and industries. If I don't have the answer, I won't quit until I do.

My tutoring approach is the same with my online facilitation and that is using patience, understanding, and feedback to ensure and confirm learning.

SQL

Took a course in SQL at DeVry University. In addition, worked as a programmer at American Express and CACI where I used SQL to run queries. SQL was used to update and delete data on database tables.

Business

Spent 10 years on active duty in the Air Force in the following roles: Postal, Publications and Forms, System Operator and System Administrator, and Technical Administrator for Nuclear Weapons (AFSC's 702x0 and 99604).

Career Development

I have more than 30 years of work experience. I have worked in almost 60 positions up to Executive Director. I am working on third degree; MBA in Leadership.

Currently, I am teaching Professional Career Development - BUS101 for Charter College in Alaska. I spent a short time working for Career Services at Grand Canyon University.

Microsoft Access

I have created an Access 2003 database for Faculty for Grand Canyon University. I am currently creating a Student/Tutor database using Acess 2010 for Southwest Valley Literacy Association. I have been a programmer and have a BS in CIS from DeVry. I took courses in Database Design. I facilitate an Access course for Grand Canyon University.
