Hello everyone, my name is Miranda and I am currently a college student at Mesa Community College. I am going for a degree in Animal Behavioral Science. I am currently taking Biology, Chemistry, and Sociology, but I also have some educational experience in Psychology, Math, Nutrition, Communication, Healthful Living, Creative Writing, English, Spanish, and playing the violin. I have been playing the violin since I was in fifth grade, throughout high school, and part of college. I have experience helping younger children with their homework as well as helping out other classmates in my high school and college environment. A family friend that I have has been fostering children for years and I was always a part of those children's lives. Even though I cared for these kids as a babysitter, I also helped with school work on a daily basis. In my experience working with children and other adults, I have learned a great deal of patience. I understand that everyone learns at their own pace and some subjects are going to be harder to understand than others. I want to find the best way for the students to learn and go forward from there because everyone knows that if you have a great teacher, everything else becomes easier. Since I am still a student myself, there is a lot that I am still learning as well. Therefore, I am not an expert, but I have learned a lot through the classes that I have taken. Your mind should always be open to learning new things, especially when you are young. As I go through the rest of my college career and my life in general, I plan to keep learning and keep gaining new knowledge in foreign subjects and increase my knowledge in subjects that I have already encountered. Life is full of learning, and only you know how you learn best. My goal is to help people have a better understanding of subjects they either have an interest in or are required to learn for future education. I hope to help in any way that I can.
P.S. I also have a clearance fingerprint card/ background check that was done in 2012 if it's necessary to provide for a tutoring session. I know the saftey of yourself and especially the children is very imporant as it is to me as well. Thank you.
