My name is Christopher and I would enjoy sharing my love for the English language and what it can offer to your child or student. I have a varied background in English which includes literature studies, short story expertise, grammar and story structure. I am a senior at Arizona State University with nearly 100 credits to my name and I'm looking to enter ASU's graduate program shorty thereafter.
During my time in college I have interned for several schools, including Beaverton Elementary school (Michigan) where I worked with children from kindergarten to 6th grade and I also worked under Michigan teacher of the year Bob Huddelston at Midland High (Michigan). With Mr. Huddelston I worked with his advance placement senior class to help them prepare their graduate essay's in creative writing.
My teaching methods are very hands on and I don't believe work-sheets are the answer for conducive learning. Instead I try and find a middle ground with my students between what they enjoy and what will help them learn the subject at hand.
I look forward to speaking with you soon.
