I am a Creative Producer: Designer, Videographer, and Project Developer with an A.A. in Computer Animation/Digital Media and a B.A. in Business. I am trained in graphic design, compositing, image manipulation, video and photo editing, and concept development. I have been fascinated by, and been working with, creative media since I was a kid. In 2006, I officially opened my own digital media studio.
Professionally, I have worked as a graphic designer, media director, logistics manager, videographer, and independent filmmaker. I have shot, edited, and authored six DVDs that are currently being distributed on a multiple online marketplaces. Additionally, I have shot, edited, and distributed over 30 online videos.
I am proficient in the Adobe Production Suite: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects. I use Photoshop and Sitegrinder plug-in for HTML and CSS coding for web design. Some of the more traditional software programs I use include: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and WordPress. I work primarily on a Windows PC.
In addition to my media work, I have been training in the Brazilian art of Capoeira for six years. I have achieved “Graduate Student” status and for the past two years I have been consistently teaching 3-5 student classes.
I believe the best way to teach is by using a Socratic method. By leading a student down a path, asking guiding questions, a student learns to reason his or her way to the answer. This leads to a better comprehension and better retention of the material.
