I believe in working with students to find out what works for them and what doesn't, and to bring out their strengths. I have experience working as a home bound teacher, where I traveled to students' homes to bring them the educational experience they could not leave their home to get. I followed the school's curriculum while providing my own lesson plans, materials and methods. I have also worked in correctional education and as a substitute teacher, providing six years of professional experience in education.
I have not yet taken the background check through WyzAnt but do have a current Class I Fingerprint Clearance Card which all state certified teachers are required to have.
