Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read this.

VIDEO PRODUCTION - I excel in the Video Production area.I am quite proficient in Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere. I know how to color correct things, chroma key shots, and more. In addition to that, I know how to set up render destinations, audio input/output, video input/output, and how to stream things. I'm also quite handy with both HD camera and standard cameras. I know how to set up shots to make things look great and what shots make things look horrible. I've taken Video Production seven times at my school and I've normally solved problems that my teacher had problems solving.

MATH - Math is a strong point for me as well. I'm a Calculus student and I do plan to take more math classes when I attend college. When I go off to college, I'll be a Calculus III student. I know the basics for Algebra and I can teach you how to use advanced techniques that you'll learn in classes later on if you decide to advance in math. I have tutored many in math before and two of my students have went from Fs to Bs in one quarter of the school year.

HISTORY - Both history and government keeps me interested. It's not a real strong suit like Math and Video Production is for me, but, I have taken AP Government and Economics and AP United States History. The combination of the two was quite heavy when thinking about it work-wise, but I do know a lot about my history now. For United States history, I am quite knowledgeable of the 1800s to the modern day.

COMPUTERS - I am handy with computers. I know how to convert files using third-party software and how to hook up a dual-monitor system. I know how to use Microsoft Powerpoint and Word to its full extent. If you need help learning how to type, I currently type at a speed of 124 words per minute. Data entry is key to the future and there are simple methods to learn how to type.

METHODS - My method of teaching is more direct. In a school environment, the teacher has to focus on several kids all at once. For example, I had a student who was struggling in math. He showed me a test that he failed on. We went over the test and his homework on the same day. I showed him what he did wrong and two days later, I issued him the same test to see if he improved. He went from a 4/20 to a 16/20 on the test. By going over a student's mistakes and then having them do better not only improves their morale, but it shows that they are learning the subject material, even if it's from the same questions they have seen before.

EXPERIENCE - As mentioned above, I have had students before. I've even traveled to Japan to teach elementary school kids English and even College students. I know what a bad teacher is and I know what a good teacher is. In addition to that, I know what a great tutor is. And, I want to intermingle the "good teacher" and the "great tutor" to make for a better outcome for the student.

Algebra 1

Algebra 1 is very basic math. Nothing but an A should be acceptable in lower level mathematics. Algebra 1 will set the foundations to future classes. Being able to confidently solve basic arithmetic problems and using advanced skills is what this course consists of. As a tutor, I would teach the student higher level skills that teachers aren't allowed to teach due to their curriculum.

Algebra 2

Algebra 2, although a tad more difficult than Algebra 1, poses the same problems to mathematicians. Learning the basic material and building off of that material will lay the foundations to classes like Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, Precalc, and Calculus.
