Hi, my name is Frank and I am a tutor for Arizona State University where I am currently a double major in Applied Mathematics and Philosophy. After I graduate, I plan to go right into a doctorate program so I can eventually get my PhD in mathematics. Since I am a tutor at ASU, I know the right questions to ask that can quickly increase retention and improve learning. I have loved mathematics all of my life and am extremely patient with students of all levels. I guarantee that if I am your tutor, you will succeed and learn more than you thought you originally could. Thank you and I hope to help you in the future! :)
ACT math consists of Pre- Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry. Since all of these math classes are classes that I have done extremely well in, it should follow that I can teach students these concepts. Like many of the high school math classes, it is fundamental to my knowledge and I have several ways to get to the same answer. If one way does not work for you, I can always show another way to get the same answer. Also, as I recall, I did very well on this exam, and I bet you will too if I am your tutor.
I am qualified to tutor Algebra 1 because it is the foundation of all mathematics. I am extremely knowledgeable in mathematics and that would be impossible without impeccable algebra. I have tutored many many people over several years with algebra and I guarantee that I can provide a way that will be understandable to any student. Whether it be purely mathematical or highly intuitive, I can find a way to explain any algebraic topic.
I am qualified to tutor Algebra 2 because it, like Algebra 1, is the foundation of math. I am extremely knowledgeable in math and that would not be possible without impeccable algebra. I have tutored many people over several years in algebra of all levels and I guarantee that I can provide a way that will be understandable to the student. Algebra 2 can be a little more challenging than Algebra 1, I can ensure success by any student who is willing to learn.
I am eligible to tutor the ASVAB because I have taken it and done very well. I typically specialize in mathematics although I can help with the other portions quite well too. I have helped people double and triple their ASVAB scores. I also have an ASVAB book that can be used a study guide. If I am your ASVAB tutor, you will score well.
I would love to help anyone learn how to improve their basketball skills. I played in high school as well as Intramural at Arizona State University. I have a tremendous passion for basketball and love the game!

I am qualified to tutor differential equations because I took it at ASU and received an A. It is a fundamental part of mathematics and I am sure I could help. Like calculus, Differential equations can have particular problems that are harder than others. I would be able to provide guidance on all types of problems like that and others.
I am more than qualified to tutor and teach elementary math because it is the core of all mathematics. Math at the elementary level can be explained in a variety of ways. I will be sure to convey a way that best suits the understanding of your child. I have helped some college students with this level of math. Although the questions may slightly vary, I know what to expect and how to answer them.
I am qualified to tutor Geometry because I took Advanced Geometry in high school. Since then, Geometry has shown itself in some of the higher math classes. Since Geometry is a fundamental math, it is a must know for a math major like me.
I am qualified to tutor Linear Algebra because I took it at ASU and received a B. Also, at the student success center at ASU, I tutored several students and they were successful. Although my grade was a B, it was a high B. The amount of material that I know reflects that of an A level. The use of matrices is important in mathematics and linear algebra is a wonderful example of that.
I am qualified to tutor logic because I have taken 2 college level logic courses and I have done very well in both of them. Logic is very natural to me and I can teach it in a way that is strongly intuitive. I actually enjoy doing logic proofs for fun so I am sure I can make it fun for you too.

This is the foundation of Calculus. Since I have taken all 3 Calculus classes, Pre Calculus is a subject that I am more than comfortable with and I am sure you will learn a lot.
Being a double major in mathematics and philosophy, I have written a lot of papers. Given this, I have the experience of understanding sentence structure and how to properly formulate one's ideas. I would be more than happy to proofread a paper and help promote this intelligent style of writing.
