Hi everyone! I am outgoing with a very positive attitude!

I was an English major in school. I have expert skills in Reading, Spelling, Proofreading, Sentence Structure and Editing. I am a published writer, having written, edited and published my own book in 2001. Since then, I have written three more books, two of which are on and the last one will be published later this year. I was also an Adult Literacy teacher in 2006-2007, teaching adults how to read. I was a Newsletter Editor for the Adult Literacy program. I am also a Public Speaker, Motivational Speaker, and Facilitator/staff person for support groups and seminars. I am now a Life Coach and have also started my own line of empowerment greeting cards. I have also been interviewed on internet TV and internet radio. I am very patient with everyone and my kids told me when they were in school that I taught them to understand their homework better than their teachers! I look forward to hearing from you and doing all I can to help you and your loved ones!

Elementary (K-6th)

I worked in a day care for 4-5 year olds for six months. I also started babysitting when I was 11 and have had kids and grandkids as well. My sons told me when they were in school that I made their homework much easier to understand than their own teachers did! I find ways for kids to remember things easier so that it helps them learn better.

Microsoft Word

I am a published author and online freelance writer/journalist/editor. I wrote and published my first book in 2001 and my last 2 books this past October, 2011.

I would be more than happy to help anyone who struggles with Microsoft Word.

Public Speaking

I wrote and published a book in 2001 about the strength of the human spirit, based on my life. I have done speeches on my book as well as volunteer speaking for support groups. I was a volunteer staff person for a personal growth seminar, where I had to speak to a room full of "trainees" to get them involved in the experiential training of the seminar. I also facilitated support groups for abused women and another group teaching parenting skills for almost 2 years. I am not afraid to speak to the public at all and have learned techniques that I use to make it less scary! I was a member of Toastmaster's International as well.

I am a published author and an online freelance writer, editor, and journalist.

I also used to be a tutor for the Adult Literacy program in Northern California.

I have a passion for reading and would be very happy to help anyone who struggles with reading skills.

Study Skills

Because I am a Psychology major and have studied new things most of my life, I have experience in learning ways to study that will help others remember what they are learning. I correlate the topic to something the student is interested in. Or, because I know personalities so well, due to years of studying them, I relate the memory techniques to the style of personality (or the learning style, such as tactile, verbal, visual, etc.) the student has. It is very beneficial for them.
