I am certified in Algebra I and have taught Algebra I and II in various education venues. I enjoy working with numbers and Algebra is a foundational building discipline used in higher mathematics course. I have also passed the certification examination here at WyzAnt.
I have taught Human anatomy and physiology at the college and university level at a number of institutions.
I hold a Master of Science degree from Penn State University in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and am very familiar with Biochemistry as it relates to living organisms such as with Human beings. I am also familiar with the biochemical components of special physiological states such as exercise, weight loss/gain, aging, and disease and pathology. I enjoy learning with students either one-on-one or in a classroom setting.
I hold several advanced degrees in the biological sciences that encompass the principles of Biology and am not only certified but feel comfortable teaching this discipline.
I have taught general math to young adults attempting to complete their GED and in other matriculation scenarios including Discrete Math and adult learners. I have also taught the progression of Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, and Trigonometry to several different populations. These include Middle School, Junior High School, Senior High School, and college-age students in a number of educational venues including public and private schools, for-profit colleges, and conventional universities. I am also certified here on WyzAnt in all of the above math disciplines. I am proceeding toward officially becoming highly qualified in the state of Arizona through taking and passing the battery of NES tests in Math and Science.
I have completed several courses in Genetics enroute to the completion of both a Bachelor of Arts degree in Zoology/Pre-Medicine and a Master's degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Microbiology. The total number of my university credits in Genetics courses is 20.
I am certified in Geometry and enjoy teaching this important mathematics discipline as it is a necessary subject in the mathematical progress into advanced mathematics subjects.
I have worked with MacIntosh computers and PC Computers for 30 years. I worked on one of the original Apple computers back in the early eighties. I am quite competent in desktop computers and use them routinely everyday as well as for obtaining several advanced degrees.
I hold a Master of Science degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Microbiology from The Pennsylvania State University. I have taught Microbiology at the University and College levels with 5 years of experience.
I hold a Master of Science degree in Biochemistry and have taught Chemistry and Organic Chemistry at the University and College levels. I have also tutored these subjects on an individual basis as well as in groups. I have completed over 18 credits at the Master's level in Organic Chemistry and have taken numerous credits in the same discipline at the Bachelor's level as well.
I am certified in physiology, have taught it in both conventional brick and mortar and technical schools, and have completed research work in this area as well.
I have completed 124 credits in Clinical Psychology enroute to the completion of Ph.D in the same discipline.
My undergraduate degree was in Zoology/Pre-medicine. Thus I have an extensive background in these two disciplines and am familiar with all concerns relating to animals including human beings.
