I was born and raised in a small town (very small) in Northeastern Pennsylvania. I grew up loving everything about athletics. My passion for athletics was identified by my counselor during my freshman year in college. She took my loves for sport and directed me to athletic training. 4 years later I graduated from college with a degree in Exercise Science.
After college I took a big leap by venturing out of my small, comfy town to San Jose, California for graduate school. I knew nobody, found a roommate online, and had just enough money to pay for gas and food for the cross country drive. I relocated to Gilbert, AZ in 2010 to begin working as a program manager for the prestigious National Academy of Sports Medicine. I know what it takes to work from nothing to make something.
I have many years experience working in the field of health and wellness. I have several advanced certifications and have helped a wide variety of individuals (from professional athlete to sedentary) meet their goals. I have a profound dedication to my profession and enjoy sharing that passion with future health professionals. I have an uncanny ability to make the most complex material identifiable and understandable.
I look forward to working with you!
Best Regards
Joshua S.
