I am a recent graduate of California State University, Los Angeles as a general history major. My specialty is tutoring ASVAB for those who want to join the military. I scored in the 92 percentile range without any preparation and qualified for every Military Occupation Specialty that the Army had to offer. I also scored a 128 on my QT Minimum of a 101 is needed to qualify to be an officer. Since I actually took the test myself, I know first hand what the test is all about what what issues a prospective student might have.
I also love to teach history. I had one history student so far. She struggled in her history class getting high Cs and Bs in here quizzes and tests. With my help she got 100% in her final. I have a passion for history, as weird as that may sound, and I love to teach it.
Courses I took include World Civilization, US History, Historiography, Research Methods, California, Los Angeles, French Revolution and Napoleon, Russia Since 1800, Traditional China, China Since 1949, Islamic Central Asia, and three seminar classes: Latin American Conquest, US Marriage--Legit or Not, and European History.
Finally, I play the piano and the flute and taught both instruments. I auditioned for California State University, Dominguez Hills for entrance into the music department with both flute and piano and was accepted. Additionally, I passed the audition for the Army Band.
I have about two years experience teaching at an after-school. I taught a variety of subjects for 1st-8th grade students.
