Hi. My name is Deborah. This summer has been such a learning and growing experience for me. In my past I taught my twin daughters at home, which was the best job I have ever had. Now, I am learning how to use these skills in helping those who want to learn our English language. I volunteered in a group setting to help refugees from Africa and other countries to learn our sometimes very confusing language. This surely fueled a fire inside of me to help those who are so desperate to learn our language.
The door also opened for me to tutor one on one with another sweet lady from Africa. We meet once a week, and I am so blessed to be with her.
I long to be able to continue to tutor and make a difference.
