I just may be the right tutor to help your child succeed!
I am currently an elementary special education teacher in the Chandler area who works with grades kindergarten through six. I work with a wide range of students with special needs, such as learning disabilities (reading, writing, math), autism, emotional disabilities, ADD, ADHD, apraxia, other health impairments, and communication disorders.
I am trained in a wide variety of reading intervention programs to help students with reading difficulties. I am trained in the Wilson Reading Program, Linda-Mood Bell, Just Words and Read Naturally reading fluency program. I am also trained in elementary common core language arts and math curriculum in grades kindergarten through 6.
I am originally from New York state, where I graduated from Syacuse University with a BA in elementary and special education. I am currently pursuing my masters degree in school psychology.
I am patient, kind and enjoy working one on one with students to help them reach their highest potential. I like to make learning fun and exciting. I use a lot of visuals and hands-on experiences to help students master concepts.I will plan interesting and meaningful lessons to help your child succeed.
