I will help you be a champion in the classroom and in life. Directly after high school I enlisted in the United States Marine Corp where I served honorably for 4 years. I was on a hazardous material emergency response team. I have training in first aid, first responder, and self-contained breathing apparatus. After serving my country I came back to Phoenix and started going to college at South Mountain Community.
I worked in the semi-conductor industry while going to school. I learned the in and outs of chemistry and metal compositions. Using math on a daily basis, I became very proficient in mathematics. Still attending school, I chose to work as an auto mechanic at a local valley dealership. I have myself worked on many historic vehicles as I myself have restored a 1969 Impala Super Sport in which I still own.
Now at the University level I joined the triathlon team where I raced while in college. In my personal life I wanted to achieve more so I decided to race the master of all races Ironman. I raced and completed the Arizona Ironman in 2008. After racing triathlons and running races all the way up to marathons I decided for some excitement and start downhill mountain bike racing. After my racing days I now am a mentor at Arizona Game and Fish Department hunts, Tiger Den leader for cub scouts, and now am training to be the Pack Leader for the cub scouts. In all my days of I have never quit and never will.
I now teach 6th grade mathematics and science. In my first year of teaching I ended up with better AIMS scores than my partner who had been teaching for 10 years. I strive to be the best in everything I do. I myself do not know how to quit my awards, medals, and honors speak for themselves.
I will help you.
