Hi! I've had the opportunity to teach expository composition, the art of the essay and creative writing. As a firm believer in "if you can say it you can write it," I've helped students tap their creativity and grow toward being excellent writers. Writing

I have been writing since I was 4 years old and fascinated with my father's typewriter. Since then, I've gone on to become a professional writer and editor. In 2010, I received my MFA in Creative Writing and Writing for the Performing Arts from the University of California, Riverside. I especially like working with those who consider writing a challenge and are hungry to learn more.

General Music

I took piano lessons for 10 years, played the French horn, trumpet, drums and pipe organ. I also have been instructed in music theory.

Piano

I received piano instruction for 10 years. During that time, I taught pupils of my own. I also started to learn pipe organ.

Theatre

I was a theatre major in college, concentrating on acting. For several years, I performed in musicals, comedies, and dramas for amateur and professional theatres. In fact, at one time I became a candidate to Actor's Equity Association, the union for actors. I also have experience as on-camera talent.

Public Speaking

My undergraduate degree concentrated on Theater Arts and Speech Communications. I was a recipient of a scholarship to participate on the speech and debate team. When I worked with Johns Hopkins University's Center for Talented Youth, I used persuasive speaking as a way to enhance students' experience with persuasive essay composition. Finally, I was chosen by my MFA classmates to deliver the graduation address.

You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
