Hello!
My name is Jamila and I really love math. When taking calculus in college and passing with an A, I realized that math is something I wanted to do. Realizing a math degree was limited, I decided to get my bachelor's in Business Management and Marketing. However, I still enjoyed math.
I would volunteer at the tutoring center at my college. My friends actually worked there, but I only volunteered. My friend who was a tutor at the center would ask me for help if she could not figure out the math problem and I succeeded of course :). I would also get paid for offering private tutoring to high school students. I am currently tutoring a young girl in algebra and she is very happy she can manage and succeed in math class.
I am proficient in algebra, geometry, and pre-algebra as well.
My goal is to take something so frustrating as math and make it simple and easy to understand!
