I'm a 60+ but youthful full-time and part-time college professor and law school director of academic support with a B.A. in political science (Phi Beta Kappa), M.A. in English, M.F.A. in creative writing, J.D. in law (Order of the Coif) and over 70 other graduate credits in education and other subjects. I've worked at universities, law schools, community colleges and one high school in New York City, Florida, Arizona. I am a writing specialist (author of numerous books reviewed in the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Philadelphia Inquirer, and articles published in People, New York Times, Newsday and many other periodicals).
At law schools, I helped students with academic difficulties, taught workshops on study skills, tutored for bar exams. As an undergraduate professor, I taught various subjects, including remedial writing, literature (include AP English in high school), social science, legal studies, business, humanities, political science, history. I'm personable, easy to get along with, funny, highly intelligent and creative. I've also taught creative writing as writer in schools from elementary to high school under state arts council fellowship and at a number of writing conferences. I'd be happy to work with middle or high school students, college students and others in any of the subjects I'm certified in.
