I attended Lyon College and studied Psychology, English, as well as Religion and Philosophy. I am great with students of all ages and have quite a bit of experience tutoring elementary, high school, and college students. I perform best in English, history, religion, philosophy, and other social sciences, but I am proficient in math and science as well. I am very patient and have great motivational skills. I have proofread several college level papers and tutored many college freshmen with their writing skills, many of whom ended up being the top writers in their Composition classes. I thrive on helping others achieve their academic goals. I can be tough or easy-going, depending on the student. I am very good at recognizing what learning styles others require to do their best. I have great communication skills. If you do not understand the concept the first time, I can easily decide the best way to word it so you can. I adapt to others' learning styles and techniques quickly and can help you exercise better study habits.
