I am first and foremost a science enthusiast and I take great joy in spreading the wealth of scientific knowledge to people. I am also well versed in literature and proof-reading.
Now, here's the things that you are probably looking for (certifications and other items of interest).
I am IC3 Certified through Certiport.
I graduated from Highland High School in 2012 as an Arkansas Scholar. I was an Information Technology Completer (Web Design), a member of FBLA and BETA.
Right now, I'm currently studying for a degree in Teaching at Ozarka College, where I am a member of the Student Government Association.
Now that you have my basic qualifications, here's the honest truths abut me as a tutor.
I am very enthusiastic about the sciences and literature. I have a knack for getting students (and peers) interested in a field of study that they previously found dull and boring.
As stated before, I take great joy in spreading knowledge and helping students understand concepts.
I like to think of myself as an interesting tutor, not one that bores the student and drills them with practices. The first step to getting better at a subject is to take interest in it.
I decided to start tutoring because I figure that if I started engaging students in subjects now, the experience I gain will allow me to be a better teacher once I become certified.
Also, because I am younger than many tutors but older than students, I can establish a relatable but respectable connection with the student, allowing for a more open setting.
My experience comes from both high school and college, where I was and am a tutor for many students in many subjects.
