What to say what to say. Well, I suppose an introduction would be an excellent start. I am John, i am a student of History at the University of Alabama's Undergrad program. While the phrase undergraduate may be a red flag, and rightly so, I am happy to teach and as such I am quite willing to work with competitive prices.
My specialties in history are primarily Western and Mideastern relations between 1096 to 1400; however, my reserves of knowledge also extend to: America from 1492-2013, Western Antiquity, the Middle Ages in the West, Monotheistic religions, and a handful of other time periods and events primarily focused on the West.
As for experience, while I have nothing paid under my belt, in high school I would often help students with grasping both the broad strokes and the fine details of the given topic. I am also known to assist two of my sisters (one who is a freshman at Auburn), along with a good friend of mine and her siblings on occasion with History and Political science homework.
Growing up under the heavy foot of my father, a veteran of the mean streets of Birmingham as a police officer and as a soldier in Afghanistan, i developed from an early age both the strong sense of discipline and promptness, as well as the fun loving humorous side of the military world. So whilst I can keep cool under pressure and keep trudging forward I can also loose a wry remark to maintain spirits.
Before I continue to digress into a incomprehensible pool of over-embellished diction I just wanted to thank you for wading through this description of my services, and wish you luck in your tutor search.
