UA Grad Student Helps to Create Empowered Writers

Buddhism states that ignorance is the root of most suffering. I am not a Buddhist, but it is easy to see how this is true. For this reason, it is important for people to properly communicate their ideas through writing. The information you have to share with the world is important, and I want to help you express that information in a way that represents you at your fullest capacity. I was a writing center tutor at Florida State University while pursuing a bachelor's degree in literature and now am pursuing a master's degree in journalism at the University of Alabama. Writing

The teaching of multiple writing and rhetorical styles in order to appropriately portray a chosen objective (informative, entertaining, persuasive, etc.) in written English.

Appropriate reading, writing, and pronunciation of the English language.

Literature

Understanding of written classics and contemporary classics.

Proofreading

Checking grammar and sentence structure and teaching others how to do the same using reading techniques and proofreading symbols.
